In my long career as an artist, I have never been known to do just one thing. In fact, I have what I would describe as a restless creative spirit, never satisfied to stay with one style or one medium.

In other words, some of us just have a need, or a passion to explore and change. Over my many years as an artist I have been a painter, a illustrator, a printmaker, a draftsman and a filmmaker. If there is one thread that runs throughout the years, it is a desire to look inward, to explore the complexities of what we might call the self. This introspection has led me to challenge myself and to regularly delve into new directions in my art, often simultaneously.

Before you today are examples from just a few of these different explorations and though my principal interest is in abstract painting, I am also exhibiting examples of other styles and topics.

Introspective is about my journey to the self and it is my hope that seeing these works will inspire you along your own journey.
